How to fix a stuck Corsa bonnet:
I was entirely unconvinced that this would work, but the internet has come up trumps (again):
Find a friend, get them to sit on the bonnet just above the catch.
Pull the release lever inside the car.
Whilst pulling, get your friend to remove their weight from the car.
Pop, there goes your bonnet.
